Lori Hayes Freeland, NP

Hayes, a true native of the triangle, was born and raised in North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) and began her career as a labor and delivery nurse at Rex Hospital, where she worked for five years. Committed to her passion for women’s health, Hayes continued to work as a triage nurse at Raleigh OB/GYN while attending graduate school. After forming strong connections with her patients and developing a love for the practice, she graduated with her Masters in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2023 and officially joined the provider team. Outside of work, her hobbies include reading, watching scary movies, playing board games, building large-scale Lego sets, and spending time with her family and friends.

Camaryn Chrisman Robbins, MD

Dr. Chrisman Robbins was raised in Michigan and attended Duke University as an undergraduate where she initially fell in love with North Carolina. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. Prior to her recent move to Raleigh, she spent 9 years as a member of the medical school faculty at Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is married and has two young children, and can be found running, gardening, or at the beach during her time away from work.  She is thrilled to come “home” to North Carolina!

Brooke Murphy, MD

Dr. Murphy was raised in Wake Forest, North Carolina. She attended East Carolina University for both undergraduate and Medical School. She then moved to Akron, Ohio to complete her residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. Dr. Murphy is board eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a junior fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her areas of interest include contraception education and management, preconception counseling, and obstetrical care. She has 2 daughters. Her hobbies include spending time with friends and family, hiking, and traveling.

Alan B. Segal, MD

A native of Long Beach, New York (and proud of it!), Dr. Segal relocated to North Carolina in 1994. He attended medical school at SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine in Stony Brook, NY. He went on to complete his residency at the University of North Carolina Memorial Hospital at Chapel Hill. Fluent in Spanish, he is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the North Carolina Medical Society and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Segal resides in the area with his wife, Anne, and his 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, spending time with family, and traveling.

Tatiana Acosta, MD, MPH

Dr. Acosta grew up in Gastonia, North Carolina, but now calls the Triangle home. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate studies, as well as for her Master of Public Health, which she received during her medical school training at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine. She then completed her residency at Duke University Medical Center, where she was honored with awards for teaching, patient care, and pelvic surgery.

Dr. Acosta is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a junior fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.

Dr. Acosta is fluent in Spanish and loves practicing the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology with a special interest in preventive care, gynecologic surgery, and healthcare access. She has a sweet and highly energetic Goldendoodle puppy. Her hobbies include ballroom dancing, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.

Dawn S. Trollip, MD

Dr. Trollip moved to Rocky Mount, NC at the age of 8 where she quickly fell in love with the state of North Carolina. She went on to attend Medical School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She completed her residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Trollip is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the North Carolina Medical Society. She is married and has two children, one boy and one girl. When not seeing patients, you can find Dr. Trollip singing in the choir, running, and walking her Great Dane.

Brian C. Brimmage, MD

Born in Dallas and raised in Houston, Dr. Brimmage left the state of Texas to attend undergrad at Harvard University. After graduation, he worked as a chemist, in business management, and as a high school teacher, before finally finding his calling in medicine. Dr. Brimmage attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Brimmage is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and board eligible through the Fellow American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr Brimmage is passionate about improving the quality and safety of healthcare for women, and loves minimally invasive / robotic gynecologic surgery. He is married to Dr. Jenifer Briscoe and they have two children, a son and a daughter. Dr. Brimmage’s hobbies include cooking, travel, and photography.

Jenifer R. Briscoe, MD

Dr. Briscoe was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Prior to relocating to the triangle in June of 2013, Dr. Briscoe lived in both Austin and Houston. She attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed her residency at the University of Texas at Houston – Memorial Hermann Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Briscoe is passionate about women’s health education and access to affordable contraception. She is married to Dr. Brian Brimmage and they have a son and daughter. Dr. Briscoe enjoys traveling, cooking and eating, and gardening.

Kristin L. Allison, MSN, FNP-BC, WHNP-BC

At the age of 5, Kristin moved to Sanford, NC and has predominantly lived in the state since. True to her southern roots, Kristin attended Nurse Practitioner School at the University of North Carolina School of Nursing in Chapel Hill, NC. Prior to joining Raleigh OB/GYN Centre, she worked at Rex Hospital as a Labor and Delivery Nurse for over 8 years. In her spare time, Kristin enjoys singing, attending concerts, and traveling with her husband, Rhett, and three sons
